La Citrouille Étrange
This is a one page novice level story about a small pumpkin that has a problem. He can't scare anyone in the pumpkin patch. All of his other friends (vampire, ghost) can scare people but Rex (the strange pumpkin) cannot. It is a cute story to use for Halloween season to help reinforce the structures (a - has, a peur de- is afraid of, and est-is)
