El Gato Curiosidad de la Navidad : Reading

This is a one-page story written in the past tense about a cat named Milo, who loves Christmas and just wants to meet Santa. He tries for a couple of years to stay awake on Christmas Eve to meet Santa but he falls asleep. He tries to stay awake but just gets too tired. This is a great story to use during the Christmas season to help reinforce the structures: gustaba, estaba, quiería conocer, se durmió et podía.

The second page is a 10-question worksheet for the students to complete after reading the story. The questions are in English and the students are asked to answer in English.

The fourth page is a worksheet for the students to illustrate the story.

The last page includes an answer key to the comprehension questions.
